Welcome 2011!

Hang on to Daddy, Jonathan!

What a sweet big brother - helping little sis in her first ice skating endeavor.

Jonathan had the opportunity to ride the Kabota. It has been hard for him today as he has to limit if activity. We don't want anything to happen to that mouth. He is healing well and keeping him done is our hardest thing. We let him skate a very little bit holding on the rail only so it was a treat for him to be able to get this special ride.

Thought this was a good picture of the splint that he has in his mouth for 8-12 weeks. It is acting like a cast to hold everything together, while the bones fuse together into one solid ridge.

Daddy and daughter skating together.

Megan trying skiing for the first time.

Steven tubing!

Daddy skiing for the first time as well. Go Daddy!

Zachary snow boarding - not his first time.

Mia enjoying a bit of relaxing after tubing.

Jonathan relaxing as well - notice the helmet we had him wear in hopes of protecting his mouth.

Not really sure it would have helped but it made us feel better. How do you tell a 9 year old he can't participate with the others. We did tell him he could only go down the hill in a sitting position and when no one else was on the hill. Over protective . . . maybe!

Watching . . .

What are they watching . . .

that is what they are watching. Well, not exactly that. They were watching the skiers/boarders that were coming down the hill.

It was a great day spending time with each other to begin the New Year.
