Visiting Mia's Kindergarten class for a Valentine/Chinese New Years celebration. The school wide schedule was for a Valentine's Day party but Mia's teacher wanted the children to celebrate Chinese New Years as well. You can see that she planned the Valentine celebration's food to be rice, dumplings, spring rolls complete with chopsticks and fortune cookies for everyone. There a four children in Mia's class that have ties to China. Three adopted and one whose mother is from China.
