Today we visited the Zoo!
The panda was Mia's favorite animal. She got real excited and kept saying the Chinese word for panda.
They had rides at the zoo as well. I think in the US they would not have let her on this ride. They told me to hang on to her. I think she would have fell out if not!
After the zoo we went to a Chinese noodle
restaurant where we could watch them make the noodles. The food was very good and quite reasonably priced. Only about 38
usd for our whole group including guide and bus driver.
After a long day and our first tears (happy she feels like she can express herself now) we decided to try ice cream. She loved the chocolate and the cone but was not quite sure what to do with the cold ice cream.
