Mia finally had her IV taken out. That was a happy time.

You would think they always knew each other.This morning Mia was up and out of the bed at 7 am wanting to vist her new friend. Instead of bothering them at such an early hour we went for a walk, talked to the nurses and went to see the aquirium. She ate her liquid diet for breakfast. We were told she could go home today but had to wait for discharge paperwork.
Mia's new friend stopped down and visited for a while to pass time by. We then went on a walk with the girls and their balloons.
Mia is on a soft food diet until her post-op visit and going home on plain old Tyenol for pain. We left the hospital around 12 noon. Special thanks to our new friends who allowed Mia to stay in their room for a visit while I took all our stuff to the car.
