Jonathan will have 2 molars pulled today in preparation for his second jaw expander. So far the expansion of his palate has been a long process. He needs to have two more expanders in order to enlarge his palate enough for his bone graft surgery. I am hoping if we get through this next big surgery he will be set for awhile. Hopefully just braces and a nose revision after that. We are really hoping things will be in place for this surgery to happen in the summer. It would be better than missing 6-8 weeks of school - but what a bummer to be down over the summer.
Jonathan is also struggling with ear issues and will have new tubes put in April. He has had some skin growth over one of them. This has been a busy time for Jonathan. He is doing well trying to keep up with school work amidst all the doctor's appointment. He is always a strong boy and has a wonderful temperament to handle all he is dealing with.
