Jonathan had a great surprise that came today - a gift from Grandmother. "Thank you, Grandmother!" This package couldn't have come at a better time. Jonathan is tired of staying down. He is all boy and is frustrated that he can't play dart tag with his brothers or jump on the trampoline. He enjoyed sitting at the table and building. We traveled back to Durham for a recheck with Dr. S. today. Everything looked good his pre-maxilla was nice and pink which means it still has good blood flow to it. We are supposed to stay on a liquid diet for the rest of this week. His splint was loose already - Dr. S. tightened it but said to absolutely don't bit down on it. Jonathan has these teeth that have slick enamel and the glue that they use to hold brackets on his teeth tends to not hold. Sure enough they glued and wired the splint in and the glue is gone already. It is now just wired in!
Jonathan's hip is getting better he still is limping ever so slightly.
