Natural Bridge Field Trip

Jonathan's second grade class went to Natural Bridge this year for their field trip. There were enough chaperones in Jonathan's class so that I didn't have anyone else to worry about but Jonathan. We had a wonderful day just spending time together and enjoying God's beautiful creation.
Jonathan's picture of me. He loved taking pictures of everything he saw.
My picture of Jonathan with Natural Bridge behind him.

A Native American tour guide. She was wonderful at telling about the history of her people before the "white man came". It was fascinating to learn and see first hand the way they cooked, the houses they lived in and the tools they used.

This was a moment where the children spotted a huge group of tadpoles in the water along the trail to Lace Falls. There must have been 1000's.

We made it to the end of the trail. Lace Falls is in the background. Now we have to hike back. At one point there is 140 stairs. It was much easier going down them than going back up. I certainly got my exercise today!
